About
My first Magic cards.
I bought a Sixth Edition Two-Player Starter Set on December 22, 2000. Some classmates were playing, and that was enough to get me started.
I have stepped away and returned to Magic more than once, sometimes as a player, sometimes as a collector, and often as both. I also spent several years playing poker professionally.
Final Fantasy has been another constant since I played Final Fantasy VII, my first game in the series, when I was eight. When Magic and Final Fantasy came together, I could not resist collecting the collaboration.
My projects reflect what keeps me interested in Magic: collecting, the history and scarcity of cards, formats, and how tournament structures influence the way people play.
